Once you have identified the documents to be retained and for how long
the documents are to be stored then you are ready to take advantage of the
value of the services Permian Document Logistics provides. We conduct free
assessments of your needs to assist you with this process.

Boxes, Files, Tapes and More
Records (business or personal) come in a variety of
media and PDL has the capabilities to store all forms. The general form
of storage is to place papers or files into boxes that are sealed for security
purposes. A computer based tracking system issues codes for boxes so that
they can be traced and catalogued so that you can easily access them at
anytime in the future. Electronic data is also coded and placed in fire
proof safes so as to be locked away from light and temperature or humidity
variances. Safes are also available for sensitive paper records upon request.
PDL has a variety of containers available, including plan
bags, tubes and journal boxes.
Moving In
After the most suitable form of storage has been identified for your purposes
then you determine whether it best suits you to:
- have boxes delivered to your office or home for packing
and then collection by our staff
or
- bring your documents
to our facility pre-boxed or ready for boxing onsite.
All boxes stored on site are coded and catalogued which not only means
easy identification and access for you but also a history is kept of all
activity associated with the box (or other storage form). All items stored
have a unique code logged to the particular client as they enter the system.

Access To Your Files
Access to information is restricted to nominated and
authorized persons only and as such you nominate or restrict
who in your organization can request access to items. Access is available
during normal working hours. Access to documents outside of these hours
is possible with consultation.
Boxes or files can be viewed at our location using
our designated office space. You are also provided with the
means to copy, scan, e-mail or fax relevant data. Information can also be
delivered to you for viewing and then collected when you request. If you
only require a portion of a box we are able to deliver those documents to
you in sealed satchels. You are also able to have relevant files or documents
e-mailed or faxed to you by PDL.
